A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

The 72 has failed to arrive. Where did the 72 go? Will the 72 ever return?

The 72 is the first game that I've ever made. It was made using the wonderful and free Renpy application. All images and sound were either in the public domain or were sourced by me.

Go to my blog.

How to Play

  1. Once you start the game, left click anywhere on the screen to go to the next line of text.
  2. When you are asked to make a decision, click the box which contains the option you want to make.
  3. Once you play through the game once, you can use the 'skip' button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to skip to the next decision.

Install instructions

Windows

  1. Download and open the zipped folder
  2. Double click 'The_72.exe' to run the game (Note: If your computer tells you that the game may harm your system, click 'More details' and press 'Run anyway.')

  2. Double click 'The_72.app' to run the game (Note: If your computer tells you the game is not verified, hold down ctrl and click the file. Then click 'Open' in the menu that opens. You can then click 'OK' to bypass the verification window.)

  3. If that doesn't work, open up a terminal window, (Press the windows key to search for it) drag the file into the terminal window and press enter.
